The watching brief was conducted during the redevelopment of a residential property. It was commissioned to satisfy a condition attached to the planning permission for the development. The investigation comprised of archaeological monitoring and recording of ground reduction and a foundation trench for a two storey building to the rear of the property. No archaeological features or finds were detected during the investigation.
