Abstract/Summary
An archaeological watching brief was carried out by On-Site-Archaeology Ltd during redevelopment at Fenton House, 9 Precentor’s Court, York, which comprised the erection of single storey side extension. The watching brief recorded a number of limestone foundations uncovered during groundworks. These appeared to represent at least two buildings, or a building with two phases of construction of a probable medieval date.
