Archaeological Services WYAS undertook a trial trench evaluation comprising three trenches at Tadcaster Road, Copmanthorpe, North Yorkshire. The evaluation comprised three trenches placed to investigate anomalies detected during a previous geophysical survey. A small number of potentially archaeological features were identified in the trenches. In each case they were modern agricultural features or were likely natural in origin.
