Abstract/Summary
Archaeological monitoring occurred during the excavation of footings for a rear extension at 28 Tadcaster Road. The watching brief identified a thick band of topsoil/post-medieval spread that extended to a depth of approximately 1.00m below ground level. Below this depth, the natural geology starts to appear.
