Abstract/Summary
Archaeological monitoring took place during the construction of a new temporary car park on the site of the former Unipart works, between May and June 2022.
Fragmentary remains of 19th and 20th century railway landscape, including some areas of former track bed, were observed, along with a buried soil of probable 19th century date that sloped down to the south, contributing to the area deposit model.
No other archaeological deposits or features were observed.
