Abstract/Summary
Archaeological monitoring took place during the mitigation excavation of Hydrocarbon contamination hotspot S1 on the 8th March 2023.
A rectangular shape, c.14.5m north to south and c.5.3m east to west was mechanically excavated under archaeological supervision. Demolished 19th century structures and 20th century dumping deposits were observed.
No archaeological deposits of significance were encountered.
