York Historic Environment Record

The function of this report is to illustrate and record the existence of the annex to the Methodist Chapel located at 3 Little Stonegate, York. This three storey domestic building lies adjacent to and to the S.W. of the chapel. It is believed to have been the residence of the chapel's caretaker until Hick's printing works acquired the chapel in 1901. The last tenant moved out shortly after Richardson's acquisition of the printing works in 1947. Since this time the building has housed some discarded printing equipment and has become derelict and uninhabitable.
