Yellow brick, with mottled red brick at rear, and with some stone dressings. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: symmetrical terrace of 2 storeys plus attic. Each house has 3 main bays and has sashes without glazing bars, with segmental arches which have keystones. No.140, at the left of the terrace, has a wider left-hand bay which has a pair of windows on the ground floor projecting forwards as a straight-sided bay window under a slate roof. At attic level there is a shaped gable with coping and ball finials, with blind recesses to each side of a taller centre which has a pediment carried on pilasters, and a round-headed window.
