Description
NABURN B 1222 SE 54 SE (east side, off) 8/90 Kennels to Bell Hall approximately 25 metres to east of house GV II Kennels. Pinkish orange brick in Flemish bond with grey slate roof and ashlar coping. Probably C19, possibly re-using C17 brick. Square on plan around open courtyard with 5 bays to each side, single storey. South facade abuts pigeon cote (q.v.). 4 round-arched openings with quoined jambs and gauged brick to heads. 2 with plank doors. Access to inner courtyard through 2nd opening. Inner courtyard: round-arched openings, some blocked, others with plank doors giving access to kennels. Ridge stack to north wall. Ashlar coping. Somewhat dilapidated at time of resurvey.
