Full Description

ennels. Pinkish orange brick in Flemish bond with grey slate roof and ashlar coping. Probably C19, possibly re-using C17 brick. Square on plan around open courtyard with 5 bays to each side, single storey. South facade abuts pigeon cote (q.v.). 4 round-arched openings with quoined jambs and gauged brick to heads. 2 with plank doors. Access to inner courtyard through 2nd opening. Inner courtyard: round-arched openings, some blocked, others with plank doors giving access to kennels. Ridge stack to north wall. Ashlar coping. Somewhat dilapidated at time of resurvey.
