Description
An archaeological evaluation comprising three trenches investigated the area of the formar Tramways Club. Previous site activity had severely truncated the archaeological remains, which largely consisted of former 19th century terraced housing, that overlay a subsoil containing residual artefactual material of Roman and medieval date.
