Summary

Originally two houses, now one shop. Left house early 18th century, rebuilt in the mid-19th century; right house late 18th; modernised in the late 20th century. Exterior: left front 3 storeys and attic, 3 windows; right front 4 storeys, 2 windows. 20th century shopfront.

Full Description

House. Mid C19 with C20 shopfront. Painted brick in Flemish bond, with timber cornice on grooved brackets to slate roof.

EXTERIOR: 4-storey, 2-window front. Windows on first floor are 1-pane sashes, on second floor unequal 9-pane sashes, and on third floor 6-pane sashes. All have painted stone sills; those on first and second floors have painted flat arches of brick.

INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value as integral part of this important historic street.
