Full Description

MILL WAS BUILT ON ISLAND CREATED WHEN THE LOCK WAS BUILT. FIRST FOR CORN THEN FOR FLINT AND STONE (FOR THE WEST RIDING POTTERIES) BEFORE REVERTING TO CORN. BURNT DOWN IN 1877 IT WAS REBUILT AND WENTOUT OF USE IN 1955. DEMOLISHED IN 1858
