Full Description
House, now offices. c1830. Brick with slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 2 bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick flat arches. The single ground-floor window, and the doorway to its right, are offset to the right. The doorcase has engaged Doric columns, a triglyph frieze, and panelled reveals. Each leaf of the double doors has 3 raised and fielded panels. Above is an overlight with diagonal glazing bars. Mutuled gutter cornice. Shared chimney on ridge at right. INTERIOR: not inspected. 69, 71, 73, 75 The Mount. Large terrace, each 2 bays x 3 storeys, cellars and attics.First rated 1832/4 but 69 not rated until 1834 and perhaps last to be built. Good porticos and windows with rubbed brick flat arches.
