Full Description

House, now offices. c1830, altered late C19. Brick with slate roof.

EXTERIOR: 3 storeys plus attic. 2 bays. The windows to the upper storeys are glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick flat arches. The attic has two C20 flat-roofed dormers. The ground floor has a timber shopfront, renewed in the C19 and altered C20, with pilasters to left and right and with end brackets supporting the continuous cornice. It has recessed doorways at the left. Mutuled timber gutter cornice. Shared ridge chimneys to left and right.

69, 71, 73, 75 The Mount. Large terrace, each 2 bays x 3 storeys, cellars and attics.First rated 1832/4 but 69 not rated until 1834 and perhaps last to be built. Good porticos and windows with rubbed brick flat arches.
