Abstract/Summary
A total of 11 non-designated archaeological sites or assets were identified within the defined study area. Most are areas of extant or former ridge and furrow, two are the sites of demolished
buildings, Earswick Hall and Ilford House, and another is a short section of the River Foss Navigation. One site covers an area of recent archaeological investigation to the east of Strensall Road south of the A1237.
