Description
Watching Brief: Beginning on the 3rd January 1992 the York Archaeological Trust carried out a watching brief during repair work on a section of the city wall between towers 9 and 7 alongside Nunnery Lane, beginning immediately to the south-east of Tower 9 extending 53.80m up to, but avoiding Tower 8, then continuing 31.60m beyond the tower towards Tower 7.
