Abstract/Summary

York Archaeological Trust conducted a building recording exercise at York Central, an area of railway buildings and sidings to the west of York Railway Station. The work was undertaken for Arup prior to the redevelopment of the site and was based on a scope of works produced by Arup. The works involved the recording of the Wagon Works, Biscuit Warehouse and Concrete Depot, as well as the main track fan and sidings and key settings around the site.
